I am a Dispute Resolution lawyer dealing with contract, trade and shareholder/partnership/LLP member disputes. I joined Thomson Snell and Passmore in 1992 and became a partner in 1997. I established and became Head of the Thames Gateway Office in 2005. We offer a full corporate and commercial, real estate, employment and litigation service backed by the resources of one of the largest law firms in the South East with around 250 people. Our client base is spread throughout the UK and overseas. We are 17 minutes from Central London. The firm is highly rated in all practice areas in the Legal 500 directory and Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession. We have achieved this by continuously aligning ourselves with our clients' ever changing needs as well as ensuring that we provide high quality and practical legal advice to both business and individual clients. Our Commercial Group consists of approximately 55 lawyers, most of whom have previously worked in magic circle and other large City and regional practices. We are experienced in providing a degree of expertise and practical commercial advice at service levels and fees that our clients expect. Our Private Client Group deals with Wills, Tax Planning and Probate, Court of Protection, Family, Residential Conveyancing and Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury. As part of our commitment to and engagement with our local community I have held numerous external positions including as Chairman of the North Kent Employment and Skills Board, Chairman of the Thames Gateway (Kent) Chamber of Commerce and Advisory Panel Member of Common Purpose Kent. I currently sit on the Board of the Thames Gateway Kent Partnership and am Chairman and a Trustee of Abigail's Footsteps.
