        members in FTP GL (PeopleSoft).

        short-term goals and long-term objectives. Manage and mentor junior personnel in the 
        accounting department
•	Inter Company Reconciliation and clearing of breaks related to Trading and Non trading between 
        affiliates. Prepare ageing of the breaks and provide commentary for the variances
•	Maintain a comprehensive system of accounting records. Generate financial reports periodically.

HSBC Markets (US) is carrying out its investment banking and financing solutions. The business includes money markets and securities services. Responsible for below activities:
•	Analyse and finalize monthly accrual, prepaid and re-classes journals and accounting for same. 
•	Preparing and finalizing the Cost Center-wise Capitalization & Amortization Schedules for 
        Software & Non-Software Projects and Assets
•       Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Revenue Recognition and 
        Reconciliations.

Responsible for all accounting of Incomes and Principal received from investment made in Securities and Bonds in US, and accounting for Security Lending Program (sub-process). More than $20 Billion has been invested in this program. It involves more or less Investment/Specialized/Forensic Accounting stuff. 

Process Related Responsibilities
Analyzing financial statements obtained from Annual reports and other financial databases (Bloomberg etc), using Fundamental Analysis. 

To make accounting entries, posting journal entries, Reconciling accounts, follow up on queries sent to various Brokers/Investment Banks like HSBC, Barclays, Jeffery, Deutsche, ING, Bank Of America, CSFB (First Boston), Goldman Sachs, Salomon, Merrill Lynch, UBS etc.

Researching about the accuracy of revenue received in terms of interest by cross verifying projection as per financial database Bloomberg & take necessary steps to ensure recording of precise amount by taking into consideration factor, terms, period of interest, coupon rates, security type etc.
Report to client on state side regarding the status of each account by sending Weekly Open Items Report, Follow up on them; escalate the high value & aged items.
