🎮 The real measure of influence? Console sales.

Forget boardrooms, KPIs, or pitch decks — these numbers prove that PlayStation 2 had more market penetration than most startup ideas ever will.

👉 160 million+ units sold. That’s more than Austria, Germany, and France combined in population. And all it took was a DVD player and "Pro Evolution Soccer."

Meanwhile, the Nintendo Switch nearly caught up by letting us all pretend to exercise with Wii Fit’s spiritual successor.

And now the PS5 has already crossed 80 million in just a few years — which basically makes it the fastest unicorn of all time.

Moral of the story?
Sometimes, innovation isn’t about being the newest or flashiest. It’s about building ecosystems people want to spend time in (and maybe lose friendships over Mario Kart).
