As an in-house graphic designer in a fragrance house, I worked on illustrating and bringing to life various themes, trends, and marketing strategies across multiple segments of consumer products (personal care, home care, and fabric care). 

The main focus of my work included building conceptual packaging designs to inspire clients and to visually showcase the elements needed to support the fragrance (Claims, Technologies, RTB, etc). I also collaborated with different departments to lead design-related projects and ensure we provide the best solutions to our clients. 

Based on the objectives and needs of each project, I developed packaging designs, exhibitions, moodboards, posters, labels, greeting cards, presentation slides, etc. My scope of work covered brainstorming & ideation, strategic planning, internal & external coordination, and full execution. 

Achievements: 
- Supporting the business and creative needs, mainly of FMCG brands like Unilever (Comfort, Surf, OMO), Reckitt Benckiser (Dettol), Colgate-Palmolive (Protex, Sta-Soft), Henkel, and other local and regional companies. 

- Creating around 250 designs in almost 3 years, including designs that allowed the company to penetrate new markets in the region. 

- Establishing the newly created role of a graphic designer in the SAMEA region and implementing systems and tools to boost efficiency and improve ways of working. Examples include establishing a solid design brief template to guide creative projects and creating structured internal databases to suit the needs of the business. 

- Contributing in the acceleration of the digitalization in the company by capturing new media needs and scoping and implementing required services and innovative tools as needed. 

- Building engaging experiences and interactive exhibitions around themes like neuroscience & naturals which have been rolled out to other countries across the SAMEA region.

📕 I grew up in a family of educators and academics which made me very passionate about sharing knowledge, growth, and learning and development. 

🎨 I started learning and practicing design at age 10 and teaching others by age 15.  

👩🏻‍💻 I have 6+ years of experience spanning graphic design, educational content creation, marketing, and LinkedIn coaching/training.

⚡️ I got promoted in every role I took and always within/under 1 year of employment. 

🌍 I've worked with teams and clients across MENA, Africa, South Asia, and beyond, so I know how to adapt to different needs and challenges as well as work collaboratively and efficiently with cross-functional teams and SMEs.
