All I need is a good book and a good cup of tea. I revel in the written word. Books have always been an important influence on my life. Since 2008, I’ve reviewed every book I have read, first on Goodreads and now on my own book reviews site. Now I’m using my talents as a writer and editor to help others hone their messages. Whether you’re an academic, a memoirist, a blogger, a copywriter, or another LinkedIn professional like me—everyone can benefit from some editing! I combine my decade of experience as an English teacher with my practical experience working with a variety of clients on all sorts of content from casual articles to dissertations. The result? Outside of my work, my friends would all agree I’m a classic introvert. Nevertheless, I still love to connect with new people, because everyone has a story worth listening to. Beyond my editing skills, I channel my creativity into knitting and co-hosting two dynamic podcasts (We Just Like to Talk, and Prophecy Girls). I might revel in the written word—but that doesn’t stop me from using the recorded word to share my opinions on everything from TV shows I love to the change in our world I want to see.
