I am a trained Instrumentation and control technician with over 9 years of experience in electrical, electronics, and industrial Automation. I passion about finding solutions to alleviate human suffering and improve industrial productivity and efficiency. I am currently working on a project to lower my lighting and cooling power costs for my current employer. on lighting I am going 100% LED, replacing 137 Fluorescent fittings rated at 116 watts each with LED replica fittings rated 48 watts each and 20 High beam lights rated at 400 watts each replacing them with LED replicas rated 100 watts each. totally I will be saving 15,316 Watts, equivalent to 64.11%. I have also planned to have 10 solar tubes/solar tunnels to cut further daytime power to zero for 10 hours daily during the sunny months. On cooling, research shows that the optimal/ideal working temperatures are between 22°C - 26°C but temperatures are mostly higher during the warmer months, instead of using air conditioning, we shall use the special paint that will keep the temperatures steady between the ideal limits ensuring optimal production by our team, equipment and protect our iron sheet roofing. the paint is water-based and has no adverse effect on the environment, (we have all the relevant MSDS and certification needed). This will also be used on our cold rooms' roofs, cooled trucks, fuel/LPG tanks as well as refrigerated containers. For the last 9 years, I have installed, commissioned, ran, maintained, and serviced two high-speed ultra-modern can-making lines (Slitter, welder, seamer, tester, and palletizer) the first in 2013 running 800 cans a minute and the second line in 2015 running 300 cans a minute. The first one is currently at over 672 million cans in 25,302 hours = 2,888years the second is currently at over 65 million cans in 4651 hours or approx. 193.79days. I have also consulted with other departments and companies on matters of efficiency, safety, new technology, maintenance, and automation, where I can proudly say, we have a single can depalletizer that will serve two production lines at a maximum speed of 832 cans a minute, and a Can ends making line with a projection of producing 100million ends in 99days all approved awaiting shipping and installation. I am also a trained and certified Health and Safety Committee member and also a rally Navigator.
