I've always loved telling people what I think is cool, it's quite an obscure notion for a kid to want to be a curator, but even then I knew I wanted to be one. I worked with online publications during my college time, spending most of my time reviewing and sharing interesting findings, in a way - curating information, people, & craft. ✍️Writing led me to stories which led me to learn diverse perspectives & eventually launch a pop culture podcast. The podcast was one of my first failures to launch stories. But I learnt a lot from it & picked up the right skills to compound. Life went on & I entered the world of building online distribution (back then - digital marketing), thinking all of it would help me build my own magazine, someday. Digital marketing was quite vast back in the early 2000s, it helped me learn the nuance of understanding products, domains, and business ops & how it led to revenue growth. I found myself working at an Edtech SaaS product in a 10 to 100 journey. My success there led me to start leading a digital marketing agency & help tech brands in India, US & Europe distribute their products & services online. Hold up, let’s take a breath. Thanks for reading so far 😊 I did my MBA right after this digital role & during one of the leadership coaching sessions during my MBA, I did Ikigai. I genuinely wanted to be a curator - at least from Ikigai’s lens. One thing led to another after this & I found the beautiful folks at GrowthX during this time.
