Hi, I’m Karan. I am a Computer Engineer by education, a habitual problem solver, and an Idea Generator. I love ideation, brainstorming business strategies, learning technical skills, analyzing business models, testing MVPs, market research, and content creation. How did I start my career? I started working as a Software Engineer in the ITeS industry, got trained in Java Web Application Development, and worked in the FinTech Business Unit with a client that is one of the biggest investment banks in the world. What happened next? After getting bored with my work due to a lack of innovation and learning, I found an opportunity to build a business in the underpenetrated coaching industry. In 1.5 years, I ended up helping 100+ youngsters directly and a few thousand indirectly, to figure out their optimal Career Paths through my online sessions. I helped them with their profile evaluation and to build a better job profile with the goal to achieve their career aspirations by working on their interpersonal skills. How did I get into Business Operations? When I was looking to get into the tech startup ecosystem, I came across an open Head of Operations role at Voila Experts. The JD intrigued me and therefore, I applied. And Voila [no pun intended :p], I started heading operations at this young startup. Oh, and I also create content: My podcast Everyday 101 is about creating personal and professional self-awareness, incubating innovation, and awakening the entrepreneurial spirit among the Indian populace. I love to share my experiences, learnings, and processes because I wish to help you guys become Knowledge-driven, skilled individuals with curious minds.
