My work here is on managing the increasing amount of lodgment deadlines to help businesses grow – not just survive during the current climate. Clients include businesses with annual turnovers of up to 10M, asset values of up to 500M and high net worth individuals with taxable incomes over 250K per year. Specific area of interest are taxation for property developers and property owners.

Transition businesses to Xero with Shopify linkages and create supportive business processes for future timely inhouse and statutory reporting.
Other highlights whilst working remotely 
- Train non-accountants in using xero 
- Build workflows and processes for the team and reporting frameworks for management

Standard FC cash management and monitoring activities and notably;
- all statutory lodgments for a large scale employer, including transition to STP and Job keeper
- report writing and presentation with a heavy management reporting and expense reporting focus.
- building the finance function from a standing start
- migration from MYOB to Xero and implementation thereof
- config and install of time and attendance software with biometrics 
- writing new procedural manuals, tiered checklists for the payroll, HR and management teams and delivering a broader training package suitable for operations across all centres

Responsible for the startup, stand up and operation of the finance function. Successfully recruited, retained and managed a small team to set benchmarks and instituted an individual performance bonus scheme in collaboration with  the key management team. Highlights include:-  creating painless efficiencies and cost savings to finance the refurbishment of one branch, the expansion of another and the acquisition of significant additional  capital expenditure.

NYSE listed Medical device company (now part of BD)

Carefusion is a global business with head offices in America, Europe and Asia. My role for the APAC territory included SG&A (including "headcount") rolling budget management from concept and engagement through to presentation. Consistent decision support to APAC  management and fulfilling project involvement in business transitions, staff training, financial modelling, profitability and process/ operational improvements to name a few. Dedicated to meeting time sensitive reporting deadlines at local, region and "outside US/ INTL" level

ASX & NASDAQ listed pharmaceutical manufacturing & research company 

For the Consumer Health Division, tasks included standard product costing calculations, production month end reconciliations, analysis and commentary. Maintained considerable involvement in the logistics of and accounting for "back of house" areas from start to finish. Coordination and presentation of budget and forecasts for the division. This division was later sold. 

Daily, monthly and year end accounting for NASDAQ listed subsidiary Marshall Edwards “MSHL” including accounting for the ‘Ovature’ trial that was designed to enroll 300+ patients over 50 clinical trial sites (hospitals) throughout Australia, Europe, UK and the USA. Clinical trials under management involved in excess of 70 “in process” contracted third parties. Final involvement with this business was at review level after the business transitioned to America.
