• Drive the recruitment of students to study at Southern Cross, focusing on coordinating and implementing the Southern Cross Advance Program. Effectively promote the University and its Faculties/Colleges to build the University’s reputational profile and increase awareness of brand, student options and successes.
• Develop an engagement plan for the region based on data. Collate, report on and analyse data to inform future strategies and resource allocation.
• Deliver towards an overall market share goal for Southern Cross University in identified markets by driving student enrolments in agreed key courses and programs.
• Review performance outcomes of areas of responsibility, utilising raw data, data trends and data analyses. 
• Ensure leads identified are updated appropriately in CRM systems.  Report on activity and outcomes, aligning to specified targets to be met in relation to student recruitment.
• Coordinate the delivery of targeted promotional programs into schools/colleges/RTOs within the region, with clear messaging, high-quality delivery and defined outcomes. Deliver campaign activities and material that promote study opportunities into relevant markets.  
• Engage with high school’s/colleges/RTOs in the region, building active and measurable relationships with Career Counsellors and Guidance Officers, that lead to strengthening the reputation of Southern Cross University and our programs.
• Undertake site visits to promote the University, using data to inform application levels and unique needs of each school/college/organisation.
• Recruit and train suitable Student Ambassadors to act as representatives of the University. 
• Collaborate with the broader Office of Engagement, working closely with Future Students Manager and Marketing Managers on the delivery of promotion material and campaigns.
• Work closely with the Partnerships and Outreach team in the delivery of events in the region that promote the University.

• Communicate and liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders to increase the ISP (International Student Program) enrolments at Miami State High School.
• Manage the student application process, including Study Abroad.
• Ensure that international students are enrolled and are provided with appropriate material, individual timetables and correct year level (according to international standards).
• Ensure details of international students are effectively managed on a database, including but not limited to, current overseas student health cover, passport details, address attendance records and student fees.
• Develop and maintain systems relating to recording student absences and forwarding academic reports to parents and DE International.
• Develop and maintain effective communication links with international students, parents, host families and staff of DE international.
• Contribute to the development and coordination of an orientation program for international students, including informing students of the location and accessibility to consumer services and community facilities and ensure integration into the school environment and community.
• Monitor the ongoing welfare, adjustment, behaviour and health of international students, visa compliance requirements ensuring appropriate intervention is provided, escalation to supervisors occurs as required and detailed records are maintained.

• Counsel students who have been placed on academic warning, have been excluded, or display difficulties and/or deficiencies in academic performance.
• Assist students in the use of technology for their enrolment and class registration and provide
instruction on accessing relevant information.
• Work with and ensure international students are enrolled in accordance with student visa requirements.
• Communicate and liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders in the administration of student enrolments (Office of Future Students, Admissions, Student Systems,Faculties/School).
• Consult with Coordinators and Managers where study plan/sequence changes may be required for
individual students, particularly as a result of advanced standing, progression and/or change of grade/s.
• Provide professional, timely and accurate turnaround of all student correspondence relating to inquiries
made in person, via email and telephone ensuring the first point of resolution.
• Provide professional advice to clients who present at the Student Business Centre by participating in a roster at the Student Assist area.
• Identify and support supervisor/manager in determining and managing academic progress (exclusions and warnings).
