• Used design thinking to revamp a multi-platform B2B enterprise software, consisting of a cloud based web app as well as an Android mobile scanner app. Created sketches and mock-ups, conducted research and user testing, and used quick, critical thinking to strategize and problem solve.

• Used industry research to develop a deep understanding of Health Canada cannabis regulations as well as GMP regulations, in order to provide design solutions for users that maintained compliance.

• Took on Product Management duties to ensure business, technical, and user needs aligned throughout feature planning. Actively contributed in business development and strategy meetings, offering user-focused insight and solutions that helped steer product development. Determined requirements for new features and created user stories and related documentation for project planning.

• First designer to join the team. Demonstrated exemplary leadership skills while establishing UX/UI Design best practices within the cross-team workflow. Took initiative to lead team meetings to address individual and team workflow needs, and came up with solutions that helped improve team efficiency.
