Hello! 👋🏻 I'm Karis, a passionate and determined digital marketer. Here's a little bit about my journey so far: 🎓 During university I got my very first taste of working in marketing as a Digital Student Ambassador. I wrote blog posts and did real-time coverage of events. The content provided advice and insight into university life for both current and future students. 📸 After graduating I worked for 4 years at a theme park photographing visitors (putting my degree to good use). Still, in the background, I was frequently applying for marketing jobs and apprenticeships. 📲 After a six-month stint at a marketing agency as part of the government Kickstart scheme, I moved on to a Digital Marketing Apprenticeship for Sauermann, a global company. I finally was able to get the education in marketing I had always dreamed of. A few things that I'm most proud of during my career, so far: 🌟 Graduated from university with a 2:1 and achieved a Distinction in my Digital Marketing Apprenticeship 🌟 Increased social media engagements by 119% across LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook 🌟 Organised my first exhibition where I created briefs for stand graphics, communicated with external companies and implemented a multi-channel promotion campaign for the event that gained over 200 leads 📩 I would love to connect with other young marketers early in their careers!
