As a social value and stakeholder manager my role is to create a better future and talent pool for organisations within construction primarily but also other industries. I offer alternative recruitment to ensure a more diverse and inclusive workforce. What’s does that mean? My role is to ensure that organisations are meeting and deliver their social value commitments /section 106 requirements. I look at their ESP and assist and deliver making recommendations and implementation upon the plan. I do this by working with the prisons, probation service, liaising with schools and provide mentoring to pupils, working with local and national authorities (councils), LEPS, Colleges, apprentices, training providers, DWP (SBWA) to generate and set up relevant training(skills needed) and hubs for individuals/ groups all with the aim of individuals gaining sustainable employment within construction and other industries.
