As a technical support consultant I investigate issues surrounding Unit4’s bespoke software ‘Coda Financials’. It is my primary aim to help troubleshoot issues surrounding technical specifications of the environments and then aid in the resolution of these issues including operating systems, web configurations, database administration/ support and scripting and infrastructure support. If we are able to prove that the reason for an error is a bug within the application we are often require to correct the data at table level by writing various scripted solutions.
UNIT4 have a number of customers that have ‘full managed services’ meaning I am responsible for the three tiers of their environment (application, web and database)
●	Responsible for daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly checks on the three tiers of the product (customers on full managed services). 
○	From a DB point of view we check disk space, successful backup, successful DR backups have taken place i.e. log shipping, successful maintenance tasks have been carried out, check all relevant MSSQL services are running, analysis of errors in SQL Server and agent error logs then investigation/ resolution of errors, DB refreshes and subsequent environmental changes.
○	Setting up alerts, maintenance plans and performance counters for profiler checks.
●	Installation of Coda Financial service pack updates on customer environments across the three tiers of the product, following relevant upgrade protocol i.e. environment change control, UAT, upgrade of files via command prompt.
●	MS Scripted solutions for a range of table level data manipulations.
●	Working with a team of technical support consultants around a triage system to ensure SLA’s are hit and ensure issues are resolved with minimal escalations. 
●	Replication of customer errors by means of duplicating the customer environment on a virtual platform, for this I will load the customer data and build an app and web tier to isolate potential network issues.

* Experience in Troubleshooting a range of network issue, making use of online research to provide a resolution.
* Experience in working within Service Level Agreements 
* Understanding of the principles of information security and handling personal information securely, PCI Compliance. 
* Excellent knowledge of office systems, procedures and practices and experience of using Windows packages
