I'm an Engineering Professor at Vanderbilt University and Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at HeroWear. I enjoy studying biomechanics (the science of human movement) and translating scientific insights into innovative assistive devices (prosthetics, exoskeletons, exosuits, smart clothing, and wearables). My goal is to drive advances in wearable and assistive technologies that improve health and mobility for individuals with disabilities, reduce musculoskeletal injuries, enhance physical performance, and positively impact human safety and well-being throughout society.
