I am responsible & accountable for the day to day management of National and Local Brands within the UK. I organise and implement credible activity plans for Brand portfolio using market, channel, customer, competitor & end user intelligence. I am responsible for managing and ensuring pre and post event administration, including database maintenance, invoicing and thank you letters are carried out.  Maintaining event communication, including website pages, social media and e-newsletters.

These include Pathway2grow business networking, the BAME Apprentice Network and Awards, The Festival of Apprenticeships, The Business Book Awards, The Thought Leaders Collective, NeuroInclusion and many more.

🚀 Day One of the Social Economy Drive — What a Start!

Yesterday marked the beginning of our Social Economy Drive, and what an inspiring first day it’s been.

A huge thank you to Dan Heffernan  AtkinsRéalis for hosting us and setting the tone with such an engaging and forward-thinking environment. We were honoured to be joined by Mayor Richard Parker who shared an empowering message about the role of social enterprise in shaping a fairer, greener and more inclusive West Midlands. Thank you, Christy Acton BEM and Rosie Ginday MBE for sharing the work they are doing to support people into employment.

Well done to the team at Initiative for Social Entrepreneurs for their work behind the scenes Shania Edwards Sylwia Juranek (SJ) 🚀 🌟 and Drew Currie. Thank you to Charles Rapson for giving us this opportunity to celebrate the work in the sector.  

We then had the pleasure of visiting JERICHO whose team delivered a brilliant and grounded tour showcasing the real impact social enterprises have on people, places and opportunities across our region. It was a privilege to see their work in action.

And of course, a special thank you to Birgit Kehrer from ChangeKitchen CIC  for providing a delicious and sustainably sourced lunch — a perfect example of values-driven business in practice.

Day one reminded us exactly why the social economy matters. I’m excited for the conversations, connections and momentum still to come.
