Work with the Macintosh platforms utilizing Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, In-Design and Acrobat PDF files. Understand job ticket information to determine quantity, special work instructions, and any other special customer requirements. Preflight incoming customer files to ensure that all components are correct and ready for processing. Interact with customer service, external customers and other business leaders regarding the status of jobs and in problem-solving scenarios. Apply knowledge of imposition, color separation, and trapping for press. 

Follow SOP to quality check customer proofs before they are sent out to customer. Quality check press form layouts before they are sent to plating. Troubleshoot and make decisions regarding the quality of finished product. Maintain a record of quality issues and keep manager informed of issues. Work with peers and other departments to improve quality and performance. Submit jobs to press and platemaking queue through predetermined workflows. Fill in as Platemaker and/or EPP Operator as needed.
