I've been in talk therapy for almost all of my adult life. I gained amazing insights. And experienced meaningful growth. And then six years ago...I became a mom. And *whoa* did my story, traumas, and triggers show up in a whole new way. There's nothing quite like having little humans to make you all the more aware of your own junk.
