I have held professional sales positions for the past twenty years since my graduation with honors and a B.S. degree in Marketing from Saint Joseph's University. In past positions as a medical device sales representative, I was responsible for the sale and management of surgical devices for Top Philadelphia hospitals. With ZOLL, I achieved 122% to plan in my first fiscal year, along with receiving Leadership Principles Award for highest revenue growth and Best of the Best Award for highest number of protected with the LifeVest. With Covidien, I finished first in my training class, and went on to achieve a consistent ranking on the Top 10 list of the company's top energy device. I was also invited to join WIL (Women in Leadership) in recognition of my performance and leadership skills. I achieved President's Club in 2008 and 2010 for Alcon, and moved a territory from a rank of 90 (last) to a rank of 9 (President's Club) within 18 months. I was the winner of multiple national contests, and have been ranked #1 and #2 for my primary and secondary products. I was the District Sales Trainer for the Northeast region and I represented the company at regional and national ophthalmic conventions. I can sell and I can coach others. More importantly, I represent my employer professionally. I do my homework. I prepare. I present very well and am comfortable speaking one-on-one or presenting to large groups. Quick on my feet, I am a listener and debater, if the situation calls for it. Dealing with doctors, surgeons, medical office personnel, and internal management, I am on top of my game daily. I care about patients and I believe in the products I represent. My top priority lies in providing the highest quality customer service while surpassing my goal and leading my team by my example. My passion for learning and advancing my knowledge around science stems from an early age, as I pursued a degree in Biology before switching to Marketing my junior year of college. I switched because I am more personable and social than studious, although I was a fine student also. I made the right move. I enjoy selling and coaching. I enjoy the challenge of selling and coaching. I now seek a new challenge. One in which I can advance, grow, and lead those around me. After twenty years, I have learned much, accomplished much, and it is time for me to keep learning, and keep growing. I seek new challenges now which will enable me to continue to challenge myself to be the best I can be for those who seek the best there is.
