Briggs Equipment is an engineering services and asset management specialist that has transformed the contract hire of industrial machinery.

My role included:
- Creating and completing 12 month internal and external communications plans utilising a wide range of traditional and digital vehicles. 
- Managing relationships with internal departments to decipher, develop and deliver corporate messages to an internal audience.
- Driving engagement with employees through positive reinforcement of Briggs culture through a period of change and growth.
- Creating PR campaign materials including videography, photography and written content. 
- Visiting customer sites to understand product applications, interview customers and complete photography for use in case studies.

Corporate Communications Specialist

Numark Ltd (Phoenix Healthcare)

I was responsible for overseeing all marketing communications activities and assisting the Communications Manager with implementation of the marketing strategy. Duties include:

-	Overseeing the communications planning process, allocating slots and documenting all activity.
-	Liaising with all business departments and project managers to develop and support commercial projects.
-	Implementing segmentation strategy and research findings into the communications planning process, including using a developed DNA language tool to adapt styles depending on customer profile attitudinal differences.
-	Collating, writing and delivering updates for members, the sales team and internal teams on a monthly basis.
-	Research and evaluation of effective communications channels. 
-	Organisation of company events including national conferences and exhibitions.
-	Organising focus groups to identify opportunities for brand and product line extensions within polar customer segments. 
- Design and implementation of new reporting system, presenting information on sales figures and engagement by customer segment and offering.
-	Uploading and editing content via company website CMS.

Key achievements:

Challenged the business to take action and devise support materials for membership following the announcement of the funding cuts at the end of 2016. As a result sales teams were trained on several occasions, a suite of information and support materials were created and hosted on NumarkNet, and a toolkit was produced for use by the sales team. The toolkit proved very popular with members and the sales team.

Built segmentation research carried out into the comms planning process and designed an easy reference guide for project teams to understand how to target particular segments.

Marketing Coordinator

Responsible for overseeing all marketing and sales activity for the company including setting a 3 year strategic and 1 year tactical plan as well as researching and defining sales targets and pipeline. 

Key achievements: 

Managing the build of the new corporate website and establishing digital tactics including use of email platform, LinkedIn, YouTube and Twitter to comply with new brand identity.

Public Relations – Researching appropriate publications to submit editorial and advertise with. Making initial contact and building relationships with identified media contacts, securing a number of regular features in key media.

Sales – Setting the sales strategy, researched and identified leads using Glenigan project database, and briefed the tele-sales team with targets, angle and process to follow. Produced a sales pipeline with a potential of £4.2M turnover.

Proposals – Creating tenders for new business, securing £1.76M worth of work.

Coordinating all marketing activities within the organisation; it was my responsibility to ensure all marketing projects were completed to a high standard and within set budgets and deadlines.

Projects completed for numerous clients operating in the tiling and construction industries including but not limited to:

- Writing RIBA approved CPD

Key achievements:

Organising industry events including two industry awards ceremonies in 2014 and again in 2015. The 2015 event saw an increase in entries by 42% and a growth in profitability of over 150%.
