I had a realization about my body recently:
“Oh. This works differently now.”

I’m 50, and after a stretch of doing… not much 

(we’ll call it a strategic pause), 

I decided to rebuild my fitness routine properly.

I assumed I’d just ease back into what used to work.

Run a bit harder.
Sweat a bit more.
Push through.

Instead, I kept hearing the same message, and it stopped me in my tracks:

What worked for us before peri
often works against us after.

So I scrapped the old playbook and started again.

From scratch.

Jumping sessions
Sprint running
Heavier weights - fewer reps
And weirdly impossible zone 2, takes forever and feels like doing nothing exercise.

How's it going?

Status doesn’t equal fit.

And when it doesn’t work, it’s easy to overthink.

Was I not good enough?
Did I miss something?
Should I have seen it coming?

Maybe.

Or maybe it just wasn’t aligned.

Not every high-profile client will be your best work.

Ending doesn’t equal failure.

Sometimes the real growth is this:

Choosing fit over optics.

Learn.
Adjust.
Move forward.

When someone sees enough of you to trust you, they buy.

They don’t like your posts.

They don’t write encouraging comments.

They just buy.

Right out of the blue.

If they still like you and still need your help, they buy bigger.
