Senior Project Manager

I lead a team of web developers, designers, project & account managers and digital marketers to deliver a range of digital projects and products to clients across a variety of industries, both B2B and B2C / ecommerce.

I am directly involved with our larger accounts and more complex projects, managing the project from initiation to delivery. My key responsibilities include understanding the project scope / requirements and stakeholder needs, preparing project documentation and progress reports, managing project resources, budgets and timelines, running Agile / sprint ceremonies and stand-ups with the team, reviewing work against specifications and presenting back to the client. I proactively identify risks, mitigate potential issues and remove roadblocks to ensure the product is delivered on-time and on-budget to the client, also recognising any commercial opportunities to sell additional services, if appropriate, and grow the client’s account within the agency.

My role also involves reviewing client website usability and data in Google Analytics to understand product performance and customer behaviours. I work closely and collaboratively with these clients to identify opportunities to improve their KPIs and conversion rates, putting together a prioritised backlog and programme of work that is user-centric and goal focussed. 

I also consult for our sister company, a PR and communications consultancy, to understand their clients’ digital needs, advise on website strategies, and help to add web initiatives to their sales proposals.

Business development, sales, strategic planning, people management, operations and finances are also key areas of my role.

Director of Web Delivery

As Senior Project Manager at Six Two, I worked closely with our clients on their web and digital projects & strategies. Working with a team of developers and designers, I was responsible for scoping project requirements, breaking down deliverables, holding daily stand-ups, running sprint meetings and demos and managing the delivery and release of work.

As Studio Manager at Six Two, I oversaw the operational day-to-day management of the studio, as well as our internal processes and tools. I worked closely with our Project and Account Managers to provide support with resource management, keeping clients happy, keeping projects on track / on budget, helping the team solve issues and overcoming roadblocks. I also worked closely with the MD on strategic planning, setting and reviewing KPIs, reviewing the P&L and reporting for monthly & quarterly presentations.

As a Delivery Manager I worked collaboratively with our development, product and marketing teams to deliver web features and projects for our key partners, which include Merlin Entertainments, Paultons Park, Encore and The Wave Bristol. The nature of the projects is often to assist with selling a new product, launching a campaign or trialling a new innovation to improve website conversion rates and key KPIs. 
 
I led collaborative and dynamic planning processes with the relevant teams to interpret the stakeholder vision and goals, break down work into deliverables and prioritise the work in consideration of the capacity and capability of the team. I regularly demo prototypes and progress to the CEO and Executives to set and manage expectations, ensure the product is fit for purpose and gather feedback. 
 
I work closely with the Head of Product, BI Team, key stakeholders and our users to deliver features of most value, looking at data and reports within Google Analytics, DataStudio and Looker to measure success and identify opportunities to iterate in order to further enhance performance against key KPIs. 
 
I was also responsible for implementing agile processes within my pod to set the team up for success and enable them to effectively deliver high quality work against the business strategy.

Delivery Manager

I was responsible for the delivery of digital projects for a diverse portfolio of clients, using Agile project management techniques and collaborative tools such as Wrike and Trello. The scale of projects I manage range from small updates to existing websites, to the creation of a health and wellbeing platform and app for employees at Cisco. As well as web-based deliverables, I also manage other digital projects including logo and brand design, print design, email campaigns and customer journey mapping.
 
I was responsible for effectively communicating the project brief and goals to the team, managing the delivery of work, proactively updating stakeholders throughout, and delivering demos of deliverables. I also worked closely with other agencies and teams within the client’s organisation to ensure there is an alignment for assets needed from the client’s side, and to set out timescales for delivery.
 
I developed positive working relationships with key client stakeholders by having regular catch-ups, using Google Analytics to provide metrics on performance, data on the impact of any recent work, as well as proactively suggesting initiatives to achieve the client’s goals.

Digital Project & Account Manager

I was responsible for managing a team of copywriters, with my role focussing on developing the content strategy across a range of channels and managing projects to deliver marketing campaigns and wider business objectives.

My role involves coordinating marketing campaigns for a number of clients, reporting on campaign performance, looking after the video production and strategy and content and marketing strategy. I'm also responsible for optimising the websites for greater user experience, refining the customer journey across different marketing channels, and using Google Analytics to provide data on page performance, as well as looking for opportunities for improvement. This involves liaising with our clients, internal teams and external partners as well as looking at customer data to deliver the best possible digital experience.

Communications & Marketing Executive

My role involved the production of on-brand content for a variety of different online channels including, but not limited to, website copy, email marketing copy, press releases, SEO-focussed copy, content marketing, merchandised product content and social media content. My additional responsibilities included building website pages using CMS, HTML & Smarty coding, maintaining and optimising landing pages, using Google Analytics to provide data on page performance and proofreading the work of other team members.

I was also responsible for the creation of online merchandised product videos which included managing the production process, liaising with the client to arrange show rounds and filming dates, scripting, storyboarding and shot-listing, co-ordinating and directing the shoot, and providing feedback during the editing stage.

I completed a three month internship at Purple PR in London, working for the account manager of two high profile brands. My main tasks were liaising with publications to provide samples for photo shoots, looking for online and print coverage and ensuring it was credited, merchandising the showrooms, sending out promotional material, sending out celebrity gifts to the appropriate contact, and administration / maintenance of the product systems.
