I am returning to the events industry after a hiatus exploring other career avenues. I have missed the vibrant environment and working with exciting creative people to deliver amazing projects which I thrive on! Over the years I have successfully curated and delivered numerous diverse, and occasionally, quirky projects. These include: closing Oxford Street for a launch; programming experiential events over 6 weeks from talks to workshops to live music acts; delivering intimate dinners for HNW guests; conferences; hosting parties, fashion shows and art exhibitions in a disused hotel and organising awards ceremonies. I’m skilled at forming and maintaining relationships across professional, organisational, cultural and social boundaries. I’ve created strong partnerships, which are essential for the successful delivery of these sorts of projects enabling me to call on the appropriate resources when needed. I’m not fazed by the size or complexity of a project or specific task. I am an ideas person who makes things happen by focusing on the detail and feasibility. I manage highly pressurised situations through a combination of my use of creative problem solving, experience and the ability to adapt to any situation. I am happy to 'roll up my sleeves' and do what needs to be done. Successful events are all about the guest experience but for that to be the case all the ‘non glamorous’ elements need to be kept on top of too - budget, H & S, contracts, invoicing, running orders and communication with all key stakeholders. Ultimately what everyone sees and experiences is the culmination of months of emails and meetings to deliver the end result. I love reading through contracts! I tend to leave a lasting impression with my infectious laugh! I am open to freelance or permanent roles at any level.
