As a managing consultant in Ramboll's Sustainability Group I am:

- Developing and launching a new circular economy practice, driving strategic growth in the United States by identifying and defining strategies, projects, and programs necessary for establishing and expanding the practice.

- Managing sustainability projects, overseeing their successful execution and delivery, including whole life carbon assessments and carbon accounting, to inform clients' sustainability approach and strategies.

- Conducting sustainability reporting activities, assisting clients in voluntary greenhouse gas (GHG) and sustainability reporting, in alignment with standards and frameworks.

- Leading efforts in circular economy initiatives, including designing and developing circular economy solutions and strategies to meet client ambitions and needs.

- Conducting technical analyses, including whole life carbon assessments and carbon footprints, to inform clients' sustainability approach and support decision-making.

Managing Consultant

As a senior sustainability specialist, consultant, and project manager at Ramboll, I provid expertise in sustainability, circular economy, whole life carbon, project management and structural analysis. I conduct strategic consulting on sustainability and circularity, as well as in-depth technical analysis of environmental impacts and life cycle costs using tools such as Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Life Cycle Costing (LCC). I utilized these tools to support sustainable and informed design choices, with a focus on long-term prosperity. I also consult clients on implementing circular solutions and transitioning to circular business models, leveraging my unique understanding of circular economy from previous work with existing building mass and historic buildings. I play a key role in developing and integrating circular economy approaches within the Ramboll Denmark building division, including the creation of a Circular Handbook that acts as a toolbox for project managers, specialists, and consultants. I also conduct sustainable building certifications such as DGNB, facilitating cross-disciplinary collaboration and defining quantifiable sustainability targets. Additionally, I provide education and training on sustainability and circularity to colleagues and deliver presentations at conferences and debates on these topics, including the Circular City Week in New York.

As a structural and sustainability engineer at Øllgaard Consulting Engineers, I provided comprehensive engineering services and project management for various building projects. My focus was on structural design and analysis, material assessments, circular economy, decarbonization initiatives, and project management. Using computational design, I created sustainable designs that reduced material consumption. With a focus on the existing building mass, I performed structural analysis and assessed circular potential, implementing initiatives such as reuse and recycling of building components. Additionally, I provided strategic advice on circularity and preservation of existing building mass for historic buildings. As a project manager, I ensured successful project delivery within scope, schedule, and budget constraints, while effectively managing small teams and stakeholders.
