Katarzyna (Katy) Dyzewska is an independent director and financial consultant. Her main focus is to support reporting and tax obligations and corporate governance compliance as well as building a long lasting strategies in your entities. She holds a Master's degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Commerce and Law in Poland and an Executive MBA diploma from Vlerick Business School in Belgium. As an independent director, she is passionate about leveraging skills and experience of the board to assist companies reaching their objectives and supporting their stakeholders. Her own experience in finance, compliance and corporate management build her commitment to uphold the highest standards. With a career of over 17 years in the finance and fund industry across Luxembourg and Poland, she worked with entities such as PE and RE Funds, AIFs, banks, management companies, IT and financial services providers and various Corporates institutions. Her role extended beyond accounting and reporting as she worked closely with Board of Directors as advisor and financial consultant. She has a deep understanding of financial structures and companies' legal governance and management. She adapts swiftly to various situations, including high-pressure environments. Since 2017, she manages her own company, providing clients with interim executive solutions, supporting their teams in accounting, reporting, management and compliance. She successfully supported startups and small-medium companies in their business development, helping them secure investments and grow their operations. On daily basis, she interacts with the Board of Directors while presenting them with her findings and supporting the understanding of the financial data. She is a member of ACAMS member. As such, she is supporting companies in compliance and AML reporting. She currently pursues an RC (Responsable du Control) and AML Specialist Certification.
