I’m a PM at Mailchimp - the all in one marketing and commerce platform for small businesses. Prior to Mailchimp, my most recent role was Head of Product at Content Analytics which is an end to end eCommerce content management and analytics platform. I worked with customers like Pepsi, Proctor & Gamble and other large and mid size companies to optimize their eCommerce content and digital shelf metrics on retailer websites like Amazon, Walmart, Target and others. My path to Product Management followed from my beginnings as a software developer to project management and ultimately to product. My first PM role was a hybrid of engineering/project/product management. Beginning as the only in house tech person, I grew the team to a group of 10 people. Today they’re a group of over 50 so I feel pretty proud of having started that growth. I’m curious and always looking to learn. This led me on a path to move around the world (Canada, Bermuda, US, UK) to expand my horizons. I love using data and technology to solve problems. One of the projects I’m most proud of is working with a startup called Bold Metrics to use over 10 years of body measurement data to build and launch an AI product that helps determine men’s suit sizes online. I am an advisor/mentor for an organization called PMDojo which is a diverse and inclusive learning community to help people in product grow throughout their career. Since the launch of this community, PMDojo has helped a growing number of people from diverse backgrounds such as medicine, retail, sales, marketing etc. transition into successful tech careers.
