9-5: Working at Reading Students' Union as the Events and Belonging Coordinator. Empowering our student body to cultivate community through relevant and engaging events. Supporting the development of our Officer team and student volunteers by creating and delivering training from induction to handover and supervising all of their projects. I lead on our EDI events across this year, working with multiple departments and organisations to ensure our activities are well planned and executed in line with student wants and needs. Through the year I also assist my colleagues with running our democratic processes such as elections and referendums including marketing the timelines to students and training our applicants and candidates. 5-9: I am a skilled photographer, I mostly shoot gigs, events, and promo shoots and I have utilised my exposure in the music industry to cultivate a thriving network. With this, I co-founded a publication and network, Out of Rage, designed to create a community of heavy music lovers and help them into the industry as reviewers, photographers, interviewers, artists, and more. I work as our Head of Outreach, engaging with student societies and student media, bands, and promoters, I also write and photograph for us, coordinate our social media presence, and act as community manager for our Discord. I have experience in events management, event planning, training and development, community management, photography, writing, copywriting, social media management, public engagement, tutoring, and networking.
