• Maintain an operating budget; includes proper forecasting and ensures operational efficiency.

Veterans Coordinator & School Certifying Official

• Provide on average 25 veterans with assistance in utilizing, and applying for V.A. benefits, academic programs, and services per week.
• Problem-solve a variety of issues to include: payments, registration, financial aid, and optimal use of benefits between students, instructors, counselors, and advisors.
• Perform V.A. certifications for veterans and dependents, completing over 400 annually. 
• Create and maintain internal campus processes including campus forms, system tracking information, and streamlining student’s application for benefits.
• Assists in event planning for veteran-related functions on campus.

Served as a Firefighter Type 2 (FFT2) and Fire Effects Monitor (FEMO) Trainee on an
11 person hand crew with the capabilities of fire suppression, prescribed fire, and
managed fires for ecological benefit.

Wildland Firefighter

Lead and performed force protection duties to protect personnel and resources. Maintained a high level of knowledge and was responsible for training Airmen to become efficient knowledgeable patrolman.

•	Oversaw classes on law enforcement ensuring the annual training plan and job performance tasks were met.
•	Conducted on the job training with over 40 Airman on law enforcement fundamentals. Ensured that all Airmen were able to obtain patrolman certification with 100% pass rate.
•	Communicated weekly status reports with other agencies and managed over 80 training records for critical military jobs.
