I am a human-centered design and engineering leader and advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion across digital platforms. As a mentor in the tech industry, I am a strong advocate for a human-centered design approach and promote equity, inclusivity, and diversity across digital platforms. With over 20 years of experience, I have led teams consisting of 30+ designers, engineers, and products across various domains and organization sizes. I have mentored designers and engineers, I work with to advance their skill growth and strategic development using a problem-led strategy. Additionally, I guide and encourage individuals to consider the various dimensions of human identity to support diversity, equity, and inclusion. I have a record of guiding teams to take products from conception to market delivery. Amongst the companies and through design agencies, I drove digital experience design (DXD) that supported their digital transformations to include human-centric product development life cycles. These companies include Intuit (TurboTax - US), Google (US - IOT agency), IKEA (INGKA - Sweden), VirBela (Metaverse - US), and Interpreta (McKesson + Centene - US), TIBCO - (US - agency), to name a few. As a mentor and a tech career coach, I emphasize the significance of creating a culture of belonging. This starts by encouraging open dialogue and ensuring that everyone's voice is heard. I firmly believe that by nurturing a collaborative and inclusive environment, we unlock the full potential of our team members, the hidden gems of talent within each other and inspire groundbreaking innovation in our digital products.
