In July 2023, I started crafting the Youth Empowerment Association (YEA) concept. YEA is a ground up group dedicated to YEA is a student-led ground-up group of semi-autonomous initiatives dedicated to fostering equity within the education system by extending opportunities to a wide range of schools.
Moreover, we unite young individuals from diverse backgrounds to craft meaningful programs. Our primary objective is to expose youth to resources beyond what their school currently offers.
We encourage self-discovery, helping young people uncover their purpose and motivation through our programs.
All initiatives are carefully selected to support students holistically. 
We will persevere in our endeavours to further improve the education system that has benefited us and brought us to our current standing.

Mission
To address and diminish the issue of elderly loneliness, we empower young individuals to curate meaningful activities for seniors, fostering intergenerational connections and support.

Our Intergenerational Bonding programs empower our youths to create lessons thataims to engage and educate the elderly. We have a wide range of content, from using online apps such as Canva and Google Earth, to online tourism, arts and craft.


Elderlive secured a partnership with NTUC Health, Fei Yue Community Services (FYCS) and MontFort Care to provide manpower and content for them.

Leader of Project DreamBig

I have a group of 7 students aiming to enhance the support student-initiated projects get in Singapore. We want to ensure that students who start projects get a chance to develop their projects into something they find meaning in, something that is impactful to the community and them, something that imparts invaluable skills and memorable experiences in them. 


We also planned to set up volunteer fairs and dialogue session to expose students to the volunteerism in schools, CCs and Youth Networks (piloting in Victoria School first)
Students who want to start projects but lack the resources to do so 
Students who have started projects are unable to make their projects as sustainable and impactful as they envision them to be.

My team is working closely with Youth Corps Singapore (YCS) and we have staff guiding us to work towards becoming a Young Changemakers (YCM) initiative.

We aim to provide avenues for such projects to receive mentorship, marketing, volunteers and partners.

Currently, we would be focusing on supporting schools, National Youth Council (NYC) or Youth For Causes (YFC) projects.

As an alumnus of Victoria Junior College (VJC) and a National Youth Council (NYC) Youth Action Challenge (YAC) Season 3 graduate, I volunteered to be an in-house mentor helping Team ProperAll in YAC Season 5 as an effort to support VJC current students. The team worked on a 3 prong approach to increase financial literacy among our youths, including using national platforms, Youtube channels and competitions.

People's Association Youth Movement (PAYM)

I am an observer (volunteer) in the Siglap Youth Network under the People's Association Youth Movement (PAYM), where I will be contributing to initiatives supporting residents living in Siglap.

The PAYM was established in 1971 as a core youth movement in Singapore to engage youth in meaningful pursuits and support the Government in nation-building. 

Through PAYM’s strategy ‘Youth for Youth, Youth for Community’, PAYM provides diverse and holistic activities for our youths to develop into responsible and active citizens. 

Involving 95 Youth Networks, PAYM’s various programs and activities create a common space for youth to bond and contribute to their local communities regardless of race, religion and educational background. Over at PAYM, we proactively create opportunities for our youth to unleash youth potentials and fulfil youth aspirations.

The BVSS Alumni (Youth Wing) is responsible for creating events that unite the alumni, strengthen the school culture and serve the school and community

I proposed the creation of a homecoming event to bond the alumni, which is officially approved at Oct 2023. I formed and led a team organising BVSS's very first homecoming on 25 Nov 2023 and launched the BVSS Alumni (Youth Wing) and the Youth Empowerment Association (YEA) Singapore

Leo Club Legacy Singapore (LCLS)

I represent the club and serve as the head of the club and club's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) I aim to foster unity among club members and also work with the sponsoring Lions Club and the Leo Club advisor.

I preside at meetings and be the Chairman of the Board of Directors. I ensure the committees function properly, call for regular committee reports, and oversee regular elections. I will also work to determine service needs in your community and motivate your club's members to respond to them generously. I oversee the club, devise policies and forge strong partnerships with valuable external organisations.

The President is expected to be a visible and respected figure who can play an important role in uniting and inspiring our members. It should represent all members, promote unity, develop positive working relationships and inspire members.

As Vice President, I volunteered under the Ex Member of Parliament (MP), Lifestyle specialist Dr Koh Lam Son to push mental wellness initiatives to youths, together with our partners such as Singapore Association of Mental Health (SAMH), SHINE and CareGiver Alliance

NUS Civil Defence Lionhearter Club

The National University of Singapore Civil Defence Lionhearter Club (CDLH) prides itself on being a student-led community service group that imparts emergency preparedness knowledge and skills both within and outside our campus.

The CD Lionhearter Club provides an avenue for tertiary students to engage in civil defence, emergency preparedness, and humanitarian missions. A five-modular programme, known as the Community Emergency Preparedness Programme (CEPP), is offered to the CD Lionhearters to equip them with the necessary skills to provide first-level response to incidents within the campus grounds. They will also be allowed to be involved in Emergency Preparedness Days and other community involvement programmes held at the heartlands.

On the international front, students can be deployed overseas as part of Non-Governmental Organisations, such as Mercy Relief, to undertake humanitarian projects and assist the host countries in construction development projects, such as repair works for damaged schools and drainage systems. To prepare them for their overseas deployment, they will be taught other countries' different cultural sensitivities and traditions.

As a Liaison Support, I connect ISC2 Youth Wing with Junior Colleges (JC) and Secondary Schools. I aim to expose our students to cybersecurity and the network that surrounds it.

A non-profit media organisation that aims to promote socio-cultural cohesion and awareness locally, through media initiatives (documentaries and videos) and community events held at public spaces (Close Circle Chats). Our Close Circle Chats invite professionals and citizens, and they create a welcoming space for social issues to be discussed.

As a former participant of National Youth Council (NYC) Youth Action Challenge (YAC), I volunteered to advise and mentor teams who had participated in YAC Season 5 with no payment.

I support the Founder in connecting VENKA with connecting with partners and strategising ways to move forward.
