Design Ancora is fully tinted in Rosso Ancora - the red hue chosen by Creative Director Sabato De Sarno to mark the new creative chapter for Gucci.

The project is co-curated by Michela Pelizzari from P:S, with the exhibition installation by architect Guillermo Santomà at the Gucci Monte Napoleone flagship in Milan.

🆕 Gemini in Databases, your AI-powered assistant to help simplify database development and management with new features, including:
– Database Studio brings SQL generation and summarization capabilities to our rich SQL editor in the Google Cloud console, as well as an AI-driven chat interface.
– Database Center lets operators manage an entire fleet of databases through intelligent dashboards that proactively assess availability, data protection, security, and compliance issues, as well as smart recommendations to optimize performance and troubleshoot issues.
– Assisted migrations with Database Migration Service that include explainability features and the ability to examine and convert database-resident code

🆕 AlloyDB gains a lot of new functionality:
– AlloyDB AI lets gen AI developers build applications that accurately query data with natural language, just like they do with SQL; available now in AlloyDB Omni.
– AlloyDB AI now includes a new pgvector-compatible index based on Google’s approximate nearest neighbor algorithms, or ScaNN; it’s available as a technology preview in AlloyDB Omni.
– AlloyDB model endpoint management makes it easier to call remote Vertex AI, third-party, and custom models; available in AlloyDB Omni today and soon on AlloyDB in Google Cloud.
– AlloyDB AI “parameterized secure views” secures data based on end-users’ context; available now in AlloyDB Omni.

🆕 Bigtable, which turns 20 this year TK, has several new features too:
– Bigtable Data Boost, a pre-GA offering, delivers high-performance, workload-isolated, on-demand processing of transactional data without disrupting operational workloads.
– Bigtable authorized views, now generally available, allow multiple teams to leverage the same tables and securely share data directly from the database.
– New Bigtable distributed counters in preview process high-frequency event data like clickstreams directly in the database.
– Bigtable large nodes, the first of other workload-optimized node shapes, offer more performance stability at higher server utilization rates, and are in private preview.

The best way to celebrate earth month year-round is to do the little things every day, such as using a reusable cup instead of a plastic cup. It makes a difference. We can speak up about recycling and be creative in ways to reduce waste, like we recycle whip cream chargers in my store. We can pick up that piece of trash on the street. We can fix something rather than replacing it if possible. Every small act to honor the earth matters.”

Ein besonderes Erlebnis beim #Porsche Tennis Grand Prix: Der FEMALE Career Day!

Neben der Performance und dem Design ist es auch unser Anspruch, begeisternde digitale Erlebnisse im Fahrzeug zu schaffen. Dabei hat es sich unser Recruiting Team zur Aufgabe gemacht, die besten Talente in diesem Bereich für Porsche zu gewinnen und gleichzeitig die weibliche Perspektive in der Automobilbranche zu stärken. Wie das konkret aussah zeigt der Female Career Day:

Den Teilnehmerinnen boten wir exklusive Einblicke in die Porsche Welt. Der perfekte Ort dafür? Der Porsche Tennis Grand Prix. Hier konnten die acht Teilnehmerinnen neben erstklassigem Tennis auch unsere Marke in Verbindung mit Sportlichkeit hautnah erleben.

Wie das im Detail aussah? Von Fachbereichsimpulsen über einen Paneltalk mit Turnierleiterin Anke Huber, einer Hinter-den-Kulissen-Tour durch die Porsche Arena bis hin zu einer Product Experience mit dem Taycan – im Mittelpunkt standen umfassende Einblicke und der Austausch mit unseren Kolleginnen und Kollegen.

Vielen Dank an alle beteiligten Kolleginnen und Kollegen und natürlich auch an unsere Teilnehmerinnen für diesen besonderen Tag!
