I worked as a financial recruiter specializing in the placement of Customer Operations professionals.  This includes professionals with a background in credit analysis, collections, cash application, billing, accounts receivable, customer service, order management, sales support, contracts, supply chain, demand planning.  In a nutshell - all of the positions in the entire Order-to-Cash cycle within a company's infrastructure that sit under the revenue stream, but aren't traditional accounting and finance positions.

Responsible for collecting past due balances for an assigned portfolio of accounts.  Worked with all Broadcast customers to resolve their disputes, researched and resolved unapplied cash issues, worked with multiple departments including sales, legal, and operations to solve problems.  Promoted to Sr. Collections Specialist and worked Services and Fees Portfolio to collect One Time Fees charged to customer for site inspections, capital contributions, USFS charges.

Responsible for full cycle collections and accounts receivable.  Day-to-day responsibilities included daily invoicing for freight shipments, collections of past due balances, cash application, daily bank deposits.  Also responsible for month-end closing of receivables, monthly meeting with sales to review aging reports.  Processed monthly port disbursement accounts (volume of about 100 monthly) for loading and discharging expenses of vessels.  Assisted with preparation of monthly statements.

Responsible for processing, coding, matching, and entering invoices to be processed for payment for four regional areas.  I handled a volume of about 1,000 customers.  I communicated daily with customers on the phone and via email to correspond on when payments would be issued.  I utilized SAP software as well.
