As the Managing Broker I have built the commercial division from start-up. Have steadily increased market share. I was available to assist with goal setting, marketing and continuing education. I also assisted with analytical research and valuation of commercial properties. Taught interest based negotiation tactics. I oversaw the web page development, social media and marketing of individual commercial properties by providing flash web sites, email blasts and email brochures. Finally, I Broker reviewed each file to make sure it is compliant with current laws. In addition to management, I used my skills to research and value commercial properties. I used this information to help clients decide the highest and best use of their investment property. I was also hired by banks to provide Broker Opinion of Values on REO properties.

As the Broker Designee I was mainly responsible for Broker review of all files to make sure they were compliant with the current laws. I managed up to 8 residential agents and provided goal setting, marketing and continuing education options. I conducted weekly meetings to motivate and team build. Also managed two office personnel. I provided trouble-shooting tactics to help agents close their deals. As a Broker I provided Broker Opinion of Values, took listings, and worked with buyers. I worked closely with a developer in Los Angeles and helped him market two subdivisions.

The Union Newspaper

I was originally hired at The Union Newspaper as production assistant for Press Works, a sub company. As production assistant I laid out publications, proofread and ran the film to pre-press. A year later I was promoted to Special Sections Coordinator where I managed 26 publications. I coordinated ad sales, ad creation, layout of the section and printing and checking the film before production. I worked with the sales team to set goals and help in their selling efforts. The next year I was promoted to sales account executive where I could completely utilize my creativity and sales expertise. Was the top selling sales executive.
