I initially launched brndMethod in response to a growing need for a digital agency that could deliver creative content while also understanding how it could support the sales cycle. That connection was not always clear 10 years ago when I started my business. brndMethod was originally a public relations firm and as digital began to become increasingly more important, we pivoted to offer services that were strictly focused on digital marketing. We did this for two reasons: • Digital allowed us to control when and how content messaging was delivered. • Digital provided better metrics to highlight what was working and what wasn’t. Digital marketing rooted in a solid strategy, partnered with a clear understanding of the sales cycle creates the best chance for a successful campaign. Throughout adulthood, I have faced several challenges unique to both my gender and my race - none of it has deterred me from working hard to be the best version of myself personally and professionally, while also delivering top service to my clients. I strive to pass along this passion when mentoring young women of color who aspire to have a career in marketing. I have done this in an unofficial capacity for the last 10 years offering support, guidance and fostering connections to support their professional journey.
