How did I get into marketing? It started with a dream of becoming an artist. Throwing oil on canvas and welding pieces of metal together whilst wearing the standard art student uniform. Although I love art, trying to carve out a career in this field didn’t quite fit as my pragmatic side kicked in, so, when I graduated, I decided that marketing would offer me that creative outlet. And so, it did, and fast forward a few years… with 10+ years of marketing experience across a wide range of industries both in the UK and globally has given me a deep understanding of working with different businesses and their cultures. I have worked on many successful B2B and B2C marketing campaigns across various sectors such as food and drink (export), education, hospitality, event brands, and most recently healthcare. I am a versatile and creative marketeer, and my experience has covered start-ups, SMEs, government, and large commercial companies. I bring passion and energy to everything I do and I’m an extremely self-motivated and detail-orientated person - being super organised is ‘my thing.’ I love working as a team but am equally fine with working on my own – although I do like that spark of bouncing ideas around a team.
