I think at some point in our lives we all have aspirations to change the world for the better. In today’s quote Morgan Freeman makes that dream a reality with one simple statement about changing the world: One random act of kindness.

We have opportunities each and every day to display this and all it takes is just a little bit of social awareness on our part to recognize when they should occur. By showing a random act of kindess to someone can make someone’s day turn right around. This could lead to a sort of domino effect where others can pay it forward and continue that kindness theme towards more and more people. So how might you change the world with an act of kindness? Just remember it should not be just a one and done but something we should strive for each and everyday.

The world is a dynamic place, where change is constant and inevitable.  The answer to change is innovation.  In order to gain an advantage, be the one that challenges and changes the status quo. But be aware, a successful innovation attracts new players who want a piece of the market, which will force you to further innovate if you want to stay in the game.  It is an endless endeavor, so get ready for a marathon of innovating. 

Innovation requires an experimental mindset. 

Innovations come in all shapes and sizes.  You can create something from scratch, or try mixing and matching.  You never know until you’ve tried it.

As leaders, we often talk about accountability but when it comes to admitting our own slip-ups, we hesitate. We justify, explain, or deflect.

Yet, true #leadership isn’t about being flawless. It’s about being honest.
Owning your mistakes doesn’t make you less capable ,it makes you more human.

Even as parents, when we fail to admit our mistakes, our children mirror that behavior.
