• Rapidly released features at Orbit, a community management tool that aims to help people more easily build high quality communities. Worked efficiently with a small, global, remote team.
• Developed features that helped users more easily find insights that are buried in their large amounts of community data and then act on that data. 
• Prototyped lightweight ways to help users learn how to leverage Orbit, including writing playbooks, recording tutorial videos, and designing in-product guidance.
• Collaborated closely with design, engineering, sales, marketing, customer success, and support to gather feedback and stay aligned on the product vision.
• Fostered relationships with customers by leading online discussions, conducting 1-1 interviews, sending email updates, and running beta tester group sessions.

• Facilitated daily virtual reflection sessions for women and non-binary people to find clarity.
• Conducted user research via 1-1 video calls to help the company better understand the needs and perspectives of session participants.

Community Facilitator

ZeeMee

• Increased monthly active users by 6x, DAU/MAU by 1.1x, and monthly time in app by 4x with a 6 person engineering team, 1 designer, and no QA.
• Performed as an EM and iOS developer when needed. Significantly increased the engineering team's morale and velocity by improving cross-team communication, providing leadership opportunities, hiring 4 developers, and creating a culture of transparency and care for each other.
• Improved ZeeMee’s core chat experience by launching interest-based, identity-based, and academic chat groups to provide students with more support and community. Also worked with design and engineering to redesign notifications delivery, chat discovery, and chat organization so that the platform was easier to use. These efforts resulted in a 80% increase in chat participation and 400% increase in monthly student time in app.
• Created a data analytics platform that college partners use to track student engagement and assess ZeeMee performance. I built the first iteration, and then worked with data, design, and engineering team to launch the final version.
• Led the redesign of user profiles, which helped students more easily represent themselves and connect with others. Saw a 65% increase in students viewing profiles, and average number of profiles viewed tripled.

Rev.com

• Led technical direction of  projects—MathElf, a live, on-demand tutoring iOS app, Rev’s internal speech recognition tools, and Rev.Ai’s developer experience.
• Worked with PMs on product roadmap by evaluating the technical complexity of proposed features and paring down v1 of features to promote faster releases.
• Coordinated with ops, QA, and other engineering teams to prioritize bugs, streamline testing, and ensure successful Apple App Store releases.
• Guided professional development of 2 engineers and 3 engineering interns.

Engineering Manager

• Designed and built MathElf’s in-app messaging to increase student-tutor and parent-tutor communication. Adopted by 30% of users in first two months.
• Reworked Rev’s job pricing model after analyzing several months of data to more accurately reflect job difficulty and reduce marketplace turnaround time.
• Improved Rev.Ai’s website and user dashboard to increase visitor-to-trial conversion. Conversion more than doubled.

•	Developed entire vision and infrastructure of the organization, garnering interest from 250+ students each year to solve problems such as food security and literacy using user centered design and engineering.
• Coordinated a 12 person executive team, professors, labs, and companies to support 5 project teams and to hold technical workshops in graphic design, 3D modeling, and Arduinos for the MIT community.
