Empath Health

Managed all brand strategy and communications for Empath Health and its 19 healthcare affiliate organizations and service lines through the strategic use of earned, paid and owned media and included major rebranding initiatives for these organizations.

Led end-to-end operations of Empath Health Marcom department and an award-winning team of writers, editors, designers, photographers, content producers, web designers, production and operations staff and an onsite print shop.

Oversaw new market expansion by developing and driving overall Marcom planning. Responsible for increasing awareness, establishing brand reputation and helping grow revenue by idealizing and executing marketing campaigns.

Managed all crisis-communications planning and execution.

Deployed multifaceted marketing campaigns to accelerate marketing and communication efforts, including television, OTT, print, search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), digital display and pre-roll, social media strategy, event participation and earned media.

A few key accomplishments:
- Assisted parent organization in growing from $150M to $351M in revenue over three years through marcom support of business development, M&A, new service lines, philanthropic initiatives and geographic expansion.
- Managed integration of two full-service departments supporting 19 healthcare organizations by redefining responsibilities, integrating marketing systems, defining new policies and procedures; and instituting culture of customer service excellence.
- Directed launch of new parent company and built brand awareness to by 26% in two years. 
- Enabled 76% year-over-year sales increase by implementing social media campaign. 
- Designed and drove a 3-month campaign to introduce parent company to a new market, increasing new website visitors by 303%, page views by 580%, and pages per session by 77%. At one-year post-launch, brand awareness in the new four-county service area measured at 43.8%.

BayCare Health System

Helped drive brand success of BayCare by instituting creative marketing communications plans for all ambulatory service lines and supporting BayCare Medical Group marketing communications. 

Developed marketing initiatives for premier employee wellness services and programs for key Tampa Bay businesses. 

Introduced new tools for marketing execution and leveraged extensive market research, competitive intelligence, and SWOT analyses to ensure success of marketing projects and campaigns, while effectively managing budgets.

Key contributions included:
- Successful launch of Urgent Care service line and opening of 15 locations.
- Accelerated brand awareness and boosted patient volume.
- Restructured call center operations.
- Promoted client engagement and communication that increased system clients from two to eight.
- Minimized number of necessary client reviews by 50%.

CareerSource Broward (formerly WorkForce One)

Provided leadership and management for 40+ person, multi-site team and developed strategic plans to implement integrated marketing communications, public relations and business development initiatives while managing a multi-million dollar budget 

Key contributions included:
- 200% increase in number of work host-sites and 50% increase in participation in national work experience program
- 45% boost in primary services and 12% boost in market penetration.
- 63% increase in organizational awareness across local business community.
- Pioneered “Customers Count” customer service campaign, resulting in reducing customer complaints by 50% and increasing satisfaction by 6%.
