Senior Content Marketing Strategist

As the Managing Director of Sales and Marketing at XYPN, I oversee all sales and marketing functions from end to end, with a predominant focus on growing the Network’s advisor headcount. I spearhead a multichannel marketing strategy focused on increasing awareness, building trust and confidence, and intentionally driving conversions, all in the spirit of growing the XYPN movement, and I collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure key stakeholders are on board and in alignment with sales and marketing initiatives.

As XYPN’s Director of Brand Communications, I lead the brand communications team in continually enhancing XYPN’s brand image, increasing brand awareness, and providing support through advertisements, media relations, social channels, blogs, podcasts, email marketing, and more. In my role, I collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure a consistent brand voice is adopted and brand standards are followed company-wide. Primary accountabilities include creating and implementing a long-term communication strategy consistent with sales, marketing, and member retention strategies, developing and safeguarding XYPN’s brand, owning XYPN’s editorial calendar, proactively building and nurturing media relationships, managing a team of writers, web and brand designers, and content creators, and tracking and reporting relevant KPIs to inform leadership of wins, losses, and opportunities.

Director of Brand Communications

As XYPN's Senior Communications Manager/Editor-in-Chief, I owned the message of XYPN and its many lines of business. As one of XYPN's marketing leaders, I played a key role in driving XYPN's messaging from top to bottom, determining messaging copy, cadence, and channel. I also personally crafted key messaging such as press releases, awards nominations, and thought leadership content, and oversaw the work of contributing writers.

As XYPN’s Content Manager, I played a major role in communicating XYPN’s value proposition to the world. Content is key to XYPN's highly successful inbound marketing strategy, and my work was critical to XYPN's growth. I was the final set of eyes on content as it went out the door, and was also responsible for creating content myself. I copyedited, published, and distributed 8+ content pieces a week, created new and clear persuasive content pieces each week that converted for several channels in XYPN's marketing funnel, built freemiums/lead magnets, maintained XYPN's content calendar, leveraged social media to promote content and maximize engagement and reach, and reported on KPIs that speak to the effectiveness of XYPN's content.
