・Leading merchant experience team

・Design systems lead—This includes both the merger of existing B2B + B2C libraries as well as scaling with accessibility top of mind.

・Lead UX efforts on Loops core offering for both Merchant and Shopper experiences. 

・Lead the creation of Loops first foray in to warranty solutions, enabling merchants to create and manage flexible warranty policies while allowing their shoppers to submit claims with ease.

・Lead the end-to-end product creation of Benchmarks by Loop, a tool allowing merchants to understand how their post-purchase performance stacks up against other brands in their vertical. This 0 to 1 experiment went from concept to launch within my first~60 days. It has since been sunset.

Senior Product Designer

Wealthsimple

・Leading UX for core Crypto experiences including both enhancements of existing and 0 to 1 features. Ownership includes but is not limited to Crypto suitability, deposits and withdrawals, price alerts & news. 

・Created the end-to-end experience for Wealthsimple Cryptos latest product feature, Staking from concept to execution. Allowing clients to earn additional passive income on Ethereum and Solana holdings. This feature better positions Wealthsimple as a viable crypto exchange and was highly requested. 

・Brought Crypto transfers across the finish line with an updated experience to better educate and guide clients. Enabling deposits and withdrawals of 50+ crypto assets.

・Reduced unsupported crypto deposits by 80%+ by improving how we communicate network usage and transfer requirements.

・Increased trading volume by creating price alerts for both stocks and crypto. A notable percentage of stock trades can be attributed to a price alert. 

・Reduced Customer experience toil and time-to-funding drastically by integrating 3rd party verification technology into existing verification flows.

・Created a unified and cohesive navigation experience tying the suite of web products together for the first time.

・Launched a series of experiments aimed at either increasing top of funnel conversion, or reducing churn throughout the onboarding experience.

・Additionally: contributing member of the design systems and a11y teams and inaugural mentorship program mentor

Product Designer

Wattpad

•  Preliminary work included manually labelling, and removing content not fit for viewers. All experiences were tested with Wattpad readers and writers to ensure both ease of use as well as acceptance. 

• Enabled the integration of a third party moderator tooling to create an image moderation workflow to filter out banned content from the platform at scale.

• Co-lead of the implementation of Wattpads latest design system library, built to align with the launch the 2019 rebrand.

Shopify

Designed delightful and innovative solutions to new business ventures and expansions of the core product as a member of the Garage team.

・Design end to end experiences for both native iOS and desktop web often including supporting marketing visuals. 
・Organize and facilitate user research, interviews and testing for idea generation and solution validation.

First design hire and first 5 member of Ottawa fitness hardware & software tech startup. 

・Design end to end experiences across native iOS and Android, as well as responsive web. 
・Marketing and promotional material including and swag, brochure sites, business cards, and trade show booth design.
・Rapid iteration and fail fast methodologies. ・Hands on testing of both hardware and software in office, as well as on location.
