Payroll, C&B
Manage all aspects of payroll cycle delivery including year-end payroll process and tax reporting. Ensure that all regular, supplemental and equity compensation transactions are properly taxed and reported.
To ensure that payroll and the related statutory deductions (EPF, SOCSO, Income Tax and HRDF contributions) are computed in an accurate and timely manner.
Design and implement effective payroll policies, procedures and controls.
Involved compensation & benefits activities in group company.
Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the payroll process.
Reconcile all payroll related accounts.
Design and implement payroll metrics, reports and reconciliations and informative payroll reports to meet the needs of the business.
Assist on both internal and external audit issues and implements corrective actions eliminating the root cause of issues, as needed.
Drive to continuously improve the payroll and reporting process.
Ability to speak in mandarin is preferred as this role requires dealing with mandarin speaking associates/international students.
Ad hoc projects as necessary.

HR Roles / Functions
Carry out reception duties at the front desk or at the chancellery in the absence of the receptionist/admin staff, as and when necessary.
Assist & involved but not limited to other HR roles (Recruitment, L&D, IR/ER, Administration & etc.)
Communicate with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources.
Have the knowledge of company insurance and the processes.
Provide feedback to the management to enhance a better and cordial working environment.
Organize corporate events such as annual dinner, company trip, team building, company dinner, birthday & festival event, corporate trip, family day etc.
Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
Perform any other duties relating to the above as may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

-Assesses training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers, instructors, and customer representatives.
-Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees and customers.
-Develops unique training programs to fulfill workers specific needs to maintain or improve job skills.
-Creates and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials.
-Presents training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos.
-Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.
-Assesses training materials prepared by instructors.
-Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
-Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training and development.
-Prepares and implements training budget; maintains records and reports of expenses.
-Performs other related duties as required
