Training & Development

- Responsible for strategic planning and implementing learning and performance solutions for line of business, including site and corporate/regional employees.  Create and manage training budget, negotiate contracts, and manage service level agreements with vendors and contractors.

- Implemented CBPS' Learning Academy.  The Learning Academy features over two thousand courses and training programs.  Since inception in 2017, increased online learning from 5% per year to over 77%  per year in 2022.  Over 93% of training, online and/or virtual training, is accessed via the Learning Academy at Canon.  Resulted in substantial reduction in T&E costs.  

- Led development of Advanced Services Sales Curriculum to increase sales in our Document Management, Digital Transformation, Warehouse & Distribution, and Workplace Experience Services.

- Created leadership and transitional programs for all levels of organization to increase bench strength and internal promotions.  Over 60% of all participants have been promoted to the next level of their career.

- Implement Talent Management process to identify, develop, and leverage talent to grow the business.

- Redesigned Performance Management process to align with business metrics and core competencies of the organization. 

Safety

- Led creation of CBPS' Corporate Safety Governance System including: (1) Corporate Safety Policy & Procedures; (2) Customized Site Safety Playbook; (3) Training & Education; and, (4) Analytics and Measurement.  

- Reduced Worker Compensation Total Paid over $300k from prior year, and reduced Worker Compensation Reserves from prior year over $400k. TRIR rate is 70% below industry average, and EMR is .63 for current policy year, decrease of over 20% from prior year.

Senior Director, Training & Development | Safety

Allied Building Products Corp.

- Senior Manager of Employee Development responsible for design, development and implementation of training, performance management and talent management programs.

- Implemented online Employee Development University powered by Cornerstone to support people development strategy.  Recognized a 20 percent bottom-line savings over 3 years through reduction in travel and the ability to deliver virtual and on-demand classes.  Reduced costs for deployment and tracking of safety compliance training.

- Created Road to Success Outside Sales Program that helped increase new customer sales $16,000,000 and increased average account size from $22,000 - $33,000.

- Improved overall customer experience 27% by implementing mystery shopper initiative and training program for inside sales.

- Developed Career Development Program for high potential individual contributors that resulted in 80% of participants being promoted to new positions.

- Created Sales Management program to identify, develop and leverage sales talent to grow the business by implementing a program that focused on: (1) Identification and Selection; (2) Accelerated Orientation and On-boarding Program; (3) Driving Performance and Results; (4) Developing People; (5) Recognizing Success.

- Created National Conference in partnership with Jeffrey Gitomer national sales author, professional speaker, and business trainer, who writes and lectures internationally on sales, customer loyalty, and personal development.  Focus of the program was to enhance customer service, increase existing business relationships and acquire new business relationships.

- Redesigned Performance Management.  Increased completion rate of annual performance management review process from 66% to 95.8% during initial rollout of new process.  Implemented Talent Management process and leveraged SuccessFactors to identify employee potential in nine-box grid.

MetLife

Developed Sales Management Development Program for new/existing sales managers focusing on recruiting, selecting, training and supervising new field service representatives (insurance agents) to increase retention and sales performance.

Director, Sales Management Development

UBS Financial Services

Managed and coached team of ten instructional designers and documentation specialists responsible for creating and maintaining training and business development programs utilizing a blended learning approach and success factor models for the following roles: Financial Advisors; Branch Managers; Operations and Administration Managers; and Client Service Associates.

Manager Learning Design and Publishing Services

Automatic Data Processing

Managed a team of Instructional Designers responsible for the development and implementation of associate and client training to support pilot of ADP's first Major Accounts Internet Payroll product. Training consisted of web-based training modules and virtual classroom training.

Project Manager

Prudential Securities Incorporated, New York, NY

Designed and developed business development programs that were a core component of Prudential Securities Financial Advisor Curriculum to increase sales performance by identifying new market opportunities and expanding existing client relationships.

Associate Vice President, Instructional Design Specialist

Analyzed, designed, developed, implemented, and evaluated training materials that ensured mastery of performance objectives for associates and customers.
