I integrate data science into Yum! Brand's restaurant operations practices by developing Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions that drive decision making at scale, such as:

•	 Leading the development of a GenAI restaurant assistant, authoring processes for Retrieval Augmented Generation, ethics, and model evaluation
•	 Building labor forecasting and efficiency models that suggest optimal staffing levels and demonstrate the ROI to investing in Yum's most important asset - its people
•	 Using survey data to derive causal inference and proportional odds models that measure the impact of emerging restaurant technologies on speed of service and order accuracy
•       Constructing network graphs that map inter-store relationships and behaviors
•	Creating dashboards deployed to over 7K restaurants that bridge the gap between machine learning and restaurant operations by quantifying performance and providing context to what goes in to our machine learning models
•	 Coaching junior data scientists in statistical modeling, data mining, data visualization, and programming - one of the most rewarding parts of my job!

As a Data Scientist, I use statistical modeling to provide scientific solutions to business problems. I am experienced in applying data science to the fields of People Analytics, Demand Forecasting, Cybersecurity, Operations, and Social Media in the utility and quick service restaurant industries.

Beyond work, I frequently speak on panels related to Data Science, Women in Technology, Natural Language Processing, and Career Development for the purposes of knowledge-sharing, networking, and championing increased diversity in the field. I also share my knowledge and expertise through teaching online courses in statistics and SQL.
