Hello, my experience in IT shows a wide variety of potential skills and an ability to adapt to any environment or technology being used. I take the approach of understanding the business goals of the company and adapting my work to meet those ends. In this process, I don't tie myself to any one technology or theory but rather look at it in a holistic approach, using what is best for the specific purpose. I know many companies want experience in specific tools and/or languages but I think is not understood is that those are simply tools. A skilled craftsman can adapt himself to using available tools to build necessary components. What is most important is not the things that you can regurgitate on command but the ability to know where to find answers to things that you don't know. The ability to find, combine and synthesize solutions to problems is a rare talent and one that should be coveted.
