So where does that come from in an economy where robots do the work?

Creative and knowledge-based industries might become the next frontier.
We’re already seeing content evolve into the new marketplace.
Audiences are no longer just watching; they’re participating.
Brands aren’t just buying ads anymore; they’re investing in ecosystems of creators and communities.

Platforms like SHARE are already rethinking the model; connecting filmmakers directly with audiences, and removing the traditional middlemen to provide more value to creatives.

Maybe the next generation of “jobs” won’t be about production at all.
They’ll be about creativity, curation, and connection: the things machines can’t truly replicate.

My daughter has been fascinated by stairs since she learned to walk.
She loves climbing them, counting them, building them; first from blocks, and now, like this, from anything she can find around the house.

This weekend, she decided to build her own staircase.
No instructions. No real goal. Just curiosity, creativity, and the determination to climb something she made herself.

Watching her work, I realized: this is how innovation starts. Not from a need to reach something, but from a desire to understand how things connect.

That’s the essence of systems thinking, creating order from what’s available, testing stability, refining structure, and learning by doing.

As leaders, we sometimes forget that the instinct to build and explore doesn’t fade with age, it just gets buried under deadlines and expectations.

Sometimes the most valuable thing you can do for a team is to give them the space to build their own “stairs.”

Because growth isn’t about reaching higher. 
It’s about learning how to climb.

Where have you seen creativity emerge naturally, you know, when no one’s asking for it?

Most of the career-defining opportunities I’ve had came through a referral.

Every time someone believed in me enough to make an introduction, I made the most of it; not just by getting the job, but by helping teams thrive once I was there.

I’ve built my career by learning how to bring structure where there was none, and clarity where others only saw complexity. It’s a skill that grew from how my mind works. 

I have aphantasia, which means I can’t visualize images in my head. Instead, I see systems, connections, and patterns.

That difference shaped everything about how I lead. From managing artists in VFX studios to helping startups build operational frameworks, I’ve learned that sustainable success depends on systems that scale and people who feel supported within them.

Right now, I’m looking for the next opportunity to apply that approach; to help an organization grow through structure, empathy, and adaptability.

I took a fall yesterday and injured my shoulder.

I can’t lift my right arm over my head or sleep on my side, and I never realized how much I rely on my shoulders just to sit up until pain made it impossible to ignore.

It’s wild how one small injury can throw a whole system off balance.

Halloween weekend, and while the world gears up for costumes and candy... my daughter decided a nap was the better choice.

She’s out cold in the back seat, blissfully unaware of deadlines, decisions, or the meaning of October 31st.

Sometimes the reminder we need most is this:
Rest is part of growth.

So while everyone else is chasing ghosts, we’re just chasing peace and quiet.

The Future Will Be What We Build Now

I once heard someone say that a personal website is a better resume.
It sounded like an interesting idea, and once I determined an initial area of focus, it felt like a logical next step.

Of course, I’ve built websites before, but the first personal site I made back in 2020 felt more like a MySpace profile: aimless self-expression, loud, and admittedly a bit juvenile.

I needed to find myself first.

I’ve spent the last five years honing my professional identity. Part of that process included working with several founders and CEOs over the last two years, helping them optimize operations and develop strategies for brand and business growth.

I’ve come a long way in five years. I understand how I think (have you even heard of aphantasia before? I hadn’t until 2020), what I value, and where I create the most impact.

Last week, I finally sat down with everything I’ve learned about who I am and what I have to offer, and built something for myself.

Version one is live.
It tells a story that connects my creative background, systems thinking, and leadership experience into a tangible value proposition.

I’ll be continuing to refine it, and I’m open to feedback as I keep iterating.

I’ve also launched my first three blogs, each designed to share insights from my experience while offering something useful to others. More to come.
