My career so far is evidence of my ability to do so sucessfully. I am now embarking on a new career focussed on short term contracts and consultancy roles. I will now apply my core skill's to surface and understand very complex issues and explain them to develop and implement innovative solutions. These have always improved process, customer service and reduced overheads across a wide mix of organisations My successful leadership style and passion to continuously improve is unchanged. This has proven critical, ensuring plans were delivered within budget and time scales over more than 40 years by pushing the team. My work is underpinned by an enthusiastic ‘can do’ approach. I have transformed a large Municipal organisation's services and have created an innovative award winning social enterprise as part of my sucessful career. I have a long term commitment in the North West, and Manchester in particular, as well as my happy place Malta. Manchester has been and remains the source of innovation for UK Plc and will be the engine house for radical change. It will transform communities that are currently seeing years of social capital destroyed by debt driven panic policies and I will work to retain the ambition to be the best again. I will lead the move away from the historically structured governmant silos to remove the walls and think the unthinkable. And in this new decade, transfer that thinking to my new home Malta 2020 and beyond. I will be leading the communities who already know what they need to do to meet the dangerous and exciting challenge's of the next few years.
