So excited to make it to YOUNGA 2023, which unites young people with decision-makers to co-create solutions for a more inclusive, sustainable world during the United Nations Decade of Action from 2020 to 2030.

YOUNGA provides bespoke six-week leadership training and advocacy program including career connections with industry leaders, and Policy Working Groups focused on YOUNGA’s five thematic tracks (Future of Education and Work, Climate Action and Sustainable Living, Mental Health and Wellbeing, Equality and Inclusion, Peace and Justice). 

With a core interest in Mental Health and Wellbeing, I am focused on co-creating solutions in that regard with other Youth Delegate all over the world.

Intentional Development to me means improving the quality of life through more effective policies backed by concrete data and research, more humane practices, and better laws.

It also involves getting involved at the local community level through projects and initiatives that ease their struggles and improve the quality of their lives. 

Through this internship I was able to harness my professional skills and sharpen my knowledge on international development to aid my involvement in international development through policy making and through community service via projects and initiatives at both the local and state levels. 

It was a wholesome experience.

I served as the President of Nigerian Association of Psychology Student (Caritas University) after serving as the Vice President of the association the preceding year.

Through this responsibility I advanced my leadership ability to start and coordinate intense projects excellently. 
• Achievement of the stated department objectives by inspiring students to drive change, and delivering departmental growth by 85% in 2 years.

Overseeing students and been elected to be in a position to influence change is one I am always grateful for.
