I am the founder and director of the design and marketing agency Top Left Design - est. 2002! We are headquartered in (London) and have an international team - our designer Tam is in London, and our designer Amy and our financial administration person Candice are in Cape Town. Amy and Tam have worked with me at TLD for over 15 years! Plus we have a team of talented and diligent coders (also known as developers) who work on projects with us. WHY? Many businesses are amazing, but you wouldn't know it if you checked them out online. They aren’t making the right impression with their websites, they’re misusing social media and they’re missing opportunities as a result. This is due to lack of time, finding it hard to choose what should do in-house and what they can outsource, and not having a clear strategy. We help them with branding, marketing strategy, websites, printed material, exhibitions, events, content marketing, and social media. We also help start-up businesses (and consultants) with branding, naming and positioning, as well as websites, blogs, and social media. Some famous examples: We did the website for the film financing company behind the Kings Speech, and the website for a film company responsible for The Expendables, Hitman's Bodyguard, and Olympus Has Fallen. We designed the logo for Antonio Banderas's fashion brand. We designed a poster for a movie with Samual L Jackson and Michael Keaton. We created a streamlined website for the TV show, the Long Way Round, starring Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman and we designed a brand for Antonio Banderas's fashion and product line. TRAINING I train clients in content marketing, social media, and blogging. I help people with ideas and shortcuts for managing their marketing. And I help people write about themselves and their businesses for LinkedIn and their websites.
