Overview:
Embarking on a groundbreaking initiative, Valley Water’s Next Gen Career Pathways Program proudly unveils its innovative Water Works Program—a pioneering water industry education and career development initiative designed to empower students and cultivate a skilled workforce for the future. Open to enthusiastic learners from all backgrounds, this program is set to revolutionize how individuals engage with the water industry.

The Water Works Academy: Introduces students to the world of water by offering a comprehensive curriculum that explores Valley Water, local water issues and the intricacies of current and upcoming water projects within their communities. Career preparation, leadership, and networking skills will also be utilized to develop participants' career readiness. This immersive experience aims to foster a profound understanding of the significance of water management and conservation.

Office Of Sustainability, San Jose State University

Assists in the functions of the office of sustainability
Aids in the sustainability posts on social media and in creating/maintaining a discord server

Brookhaven National Laboratory

10 Week Summer Internship
- Utilizes data from ARM website and complies it into graphs in order to interpret data and draw conclusions from the BBOP field campaign
- Exposure to Python (Spyder, Visual Studio, etc.)
- Creates a scientific report, poster, and presentation by the end of the internship (August 2022)

- Aids the Vice President in the planning, organization, etc. in hopes of utilizing 77 acres of land to create renewable energy and other benefits for the population nearby (in Texas)

A company created by students, for students. Park Keen Community supports students by providing economical membership access to late night study spaces while efficiently spreading knowledge, specific to affordable housing, through community.

- Informs students on the most recent COVID guidelines for SRJC (masks required indoors, etc.)
- Welcomes students back to campus with a smile!

Safety Monitor

- Aids program manager in the organizing of student information 
- Utilizes Microsoft Excel experience to efficiently and effectively update student progress in a spreadsheet
- Emails students that declare themselves as formally incarcerated
