👋 Hi there! My name is Kevin. By day, I'm a Computer Science student and content creator. By night, or more like afternoon, I'm an avid language learner, polyglot, and a mentor. 💻 I started programming in my sophomore year of high school when I took a Java introductory course. Since then, I've fallen in love with programming, went on to pursue a degree in Computer Science, and received SWE internship offers from 2 Fortune 500 companies. 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Along with my passion for technology, I've realized my passion for helping people and paying my knowledge and experience forward. Having gone through the recruitment process for summer internships twice, done several LeetCode problems ro prepare for technical interviews, and studied for countless hours to excel in my computer science classes at university, I can totally relate to the obstacles many students may experience along their tech journeys. Nevertheless, I'm willing to pass on my experiences and minimize the struggles. ⌚ What I'm currently working on: 💡 Developing my personal brand on LinkedIn, creating content that covers early career tips, tips on how to navigate the job application process and manage time effectively 💡 Teaching students and fellow peers how to leverage LinkedIn for their job search and help them get started on their LinkedIn content creation journey 💡 Fortifying my skills, specifically in DSA, backend software development (Node.js, JavaScript, relational databases), and cloud-services in an effort to work for a top tech company after graduation 😁 Fun facts 🎵 Before deciding to study computer science, I dreamed of being a professional clarinet player. I've played at Carnegie Hall twice and have been an active member of Maryland State ensembles. 💬 I'm an avid language learner and polyglot who speaks 7 languages. Outside of programming, you can catch me learning foreign languages and engaging with international students on campus.
